  • Hi, my name is Ishan Singhal, and I’m a senior at Stony Point High School. I have the honor of serving as the Secretary-General for SICMUN VIII. Over the past few years, Model UN has played a major role in shaping my interests in diplomacy, leadership, and global affairs. From starting out as a delegate at my school’s MUN club to now leading SICMUN, it’s been an incredible journey of growth and collaboration. I’m incredibly proud of the dedicated and creative team behind this year’s conference, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we’ve been working so hard to build.   • Hello! I’m Sarah Orsini, a senior at Meridian and Secretary General of our MUN club. I’ve been involved in Model UN since my freshman year and joined the SICMUN secretariat two years ago as a chair. Since then, I’ve served as USG of External Affairs and DSGT of Logistics and Administration at last year’s conference, and I’m now thrilled to lead the 8th edition of SICMUN Jr. as Secretary General. I can’t wait to work with this year’s amazing secretariat to make SICMUN VIII our most engaging and memorable conference yet!

  • Hi, my name is Vivaan Pai, a current senior at Meridian World School and this year's SICMUN DSG of Academics. I've been an active member of Model UN since 6th grade as both officer and delegate, and I'd like to say, my time in SICMUN has been, and is currently, one of the most rewarding Model UN experiences of my high school career.   • Hello! My name is Yaseen Aswad and I am a current junior at Meridian and this year I will serve as SGT and Co-USG of External Affairs for SICMUN VIII. I have been a passionate MUN member and officer for several years and currently serve as DSG of Administration at our schools MUN club.   • Hi! My name is Siddharth Kommuri, and I'm a current junior at Rouse High School, serving as the USG of Finance for our club. I've been an active member of MUN since my freshman year and have won two awards at SICMUN, being Honorable Delegate my freshman year and Best Delegate my sophomore year. MUN has been incredibly impactful in my life, and I've loved meeting all the new people I've had the opportunity to meet.   • Hello! My name is Maia Bustamante and I am a current junior at Glenn High School. My positions are Secretary General in Training and USG of External Instruction middle school. Additionally, with the help of SICMUN, I founded and am the Secretary General of Glenn's MUN club! I have been in MUN for 3 years and chaired my first committee, ECOFIN last year.   • Hi, my name is Alishia Sharma, a contemporary sophomore at Meridian IB World School, as well as a keen member of our internal Model United Nations club. Since 7th grade, I have throughly participated amidst this organization, whether it be through supporting my peers or attending conferences myself. This year, I have the honor of remaining part of the secretariat as the USGT of registration (within logistics), which I amply look forward to. Throughout this entire process, I have been surrounded by intelligible individuals who clearly have an abundance of passion for this endeavor. Furthermore, I am fortunate enough to remain a member of this community, in which I have the potential alongside my peers to augment SICMUN VIII! While I have previously solely remained a delegate of SICMUN, I have had the experience to meet new individuals, as well as participate in beautiful debates. I hope to perceive an ample amount of passion for this organization as I, alongside many have retained in the past.
