Hello! My name is Maia Bustamante, and I will be serving as your Secretary General Jr. of SICMUN IX. I am a senior at Tom Glenn High School, and I serve as the president of my school's Model UN club. I want to pursue journalism and communications in the future. Something I love about SICMUN is the fact that we welcome delegates from around the world. Whether online or in person, I think that's what makes this conference stand out from others.

Hello! I'm Yaseen Aswad, and I am honored to be serving as your Secretary General for SICMUN IX this year! I am a senior at Meridian World School, where I have been actively involved in our MUN club as an officer and will be serving as the Secretary General there this year. The reason SICMUN is so dear to me is the opportunity for growth that it offers delegates worldwide while also fostering such a close-knit community of secretariat members with a common mission! That same magic is what inspires countless changemakers around the world to improve the quality of society. I hope to one day combine healthcare and public policy to contribute to increasing healthcare access as an interventional cardiologist!

Hi y’all! My name is Rithika Saravanan, and I am honored to serve as the Director General of SICMUN IX. I am a junior at Meridian World School, where I am actively involved in my school's Model UN club as an officer. One of my favorite things about SICMUN is how it brings together students from different backgrounds and countries, creating an environment where everyone can learn from one another. I've been involved in Model UN for several years as both a delegate and a Secretariat member, and it's been an incredible journey. In the future, I hope to pursue international and business majors, with the goal of working in international business or patent law down the line!

I have been a part of the SICMUN community for the past six years, and it has become one of the most meaningful and impactful aspects of my Model UN experience. I love SICMUN's mission of creating an engaging, welcoming, and educational conference for delegates of all experience levels. Hi! My name is Sanvi Narra, and I am the Under Secretary General of Registration in Training for SICMUN IX. I am a freshman at Meridian World School, where I help teach people in MUN. Something I love about SICMUN is how catered it is to new delegates and how beginner-friendly it is for people starting MUN at all ages. That's my favorite thing about SICMUN, and what makes it a standout conference for new MUN delegates.

Hello! My name is Zahraa Aswad, and I'm a Design Team Member for this year's SICMUN IX. I'm an 8th grader at Meridian World School, and I'm also a Middle School Co-Chair in my school's Model United Nations Club. I'm going into my 3rd year in my school's Model United Nations club, and SICMUN IX will also be my 3rd SICMUN conference. The one thing I love most about SICMUN is the fun new memories I get to make by meeting all different delegates from different schools. In the future, I want to explore design and business, with the hope of one day starting my own bakery business.

I am currently a junior at Sterling Classical School and serve as the Secretary-General of my school's MUN. I have participated in over 15 Model United Nations (MUN) conferences, holding various roles such as delegate, chair, and secretariat member. I have received several awards, including Best Chair, Best Delegate, and Best Position Paper. In the future, I want to pursue something like Criminology, Security, or even law! Hello! My name is Rhea Kurian and I am a Committee Development Member of SICMUN IX. I am a current sophomore in Cedar Ridge High School. What I love about SICMUN is how everyone is able to collaborate with each other, creating unique ideas while also being a conference where everyone is able to participate in no matter how much experience a delegate has. Currently, I have 5 years of experience throughout MUN and 2 years of experience within SICMUN! In the future, I aspire to become a Radiologist.
